His Majesty Sultan Haitham Reaffirms Infrastructure as a Pillar of Vision 2040

In his Royal Speech to the Nation on Accession Day, 11 January 2025, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq reaffirmed that infrastructure and integrated development remain central to Oman's growth — placing the construction sector at the heart of Vision 2040.

His Majesty stated that the Government has been keen to ensure progress goes "hand in hand with the expansion of infrastructure services… and the establishment of integrated cities and major investment projects," adding that Oman continues to build "a large network of ports, free zones, special economic zones and integrated industrial zones."

These remarks reinforce a strong pipeline of opportunities for contractors and developers across the Sultanate.
