Al Buraimi Sports Complex

Al Buraimi

AHAR delivered the Al Buraimi Sports Complex as part of Oman's national programme to provide every governorate with a world-class multi-sport facility.

Situated in Al Buraimi Governorate — Oman's strategic northern gateway bordering the United Arab Emirates — the complex serves a rapidly growing population and stands as the permanent home ground of Al-Nahda Club, one of Oman's oldest and most decorated football clubs, founded in 1981.

The development encompasses a fully equipped international-standard football stadium with covered spectator stands, multiple changing rooms, referees' facilities, VIP suites, and broadcast infrastructure. An indoor multipurpose sports hall supports handball, volleyball, basketball, and other disciplines.

The complex plays a critical social and economic role in Al Buraimi, enabling the governorate to host regional and national tournaments and reinforcing the government's commitment to balanced geographic development across the Sultanate.
