Hasik — 433 V & 11 kV Electrical Distribution Works

The Hasik Electrical Distribution Works extended a full low- and medium-voltage distribution network to the remote coastal community of Hasik — a fishing and farming settlement at the foot of the Dhofar mountain range, approximately 180 km east of Salalah. The project was commissioned and supervised by the Rural Areas Electricity Company (RAECO).

Delivered over six months, the scope covered construction of combined 433 V and 11 kV networks — overhead lines, distribution transformers, low-voltage service networks, and the full civil and termination works required to energise the settlement reliably.

The project is part of RAECO's long-term rural electrification mandate, extending grid-quality supply to remote communities across the Sultanate — and demonstrates AHAR's capability to deliver electrical infrastructure in some of Oman's most challenging coastal and mountain geographies.
