Ittin–Hameer 11 kV Underground Cable Feeder

This project installed a new 11 kV underground cable feeder between Ittin Roundabout and Hameer Roundabout along Salalah's Bypass Road corridor — linking two of the city's busiest traffic nodes through a modern underground distribution link, and including street-lighting upgrades along the route.
Delivered over eight months for Dhofar Power Company, the scope covered cable route excavation, ducting and backfill, cable laying and jointing, termination works at both ends, and the associated civil works for the bypass-road street-light network.
The feeder strengthened the reliability and resilience of Salalah's distribution grid across a high-load corridor, and removed legacy overhead infrastructure from a prominent urban route — aligning with Dhofar Power's long-term programme of network modernisation.
